NEWPORT NEWS, Va., March 16, 2023 – ITA International (ITA), a data-driven company, recently launched a new business unit, ITA Stability and Sustainability (ITASAS). Committed to working toward a secure, stable and sustainable human ecosystem, the ITASAS team uses data, technology and professional services to provide stability and sustainability solutions to improve the lives of all people, at the pace of innovation.
“The ITASAS business unit has been a long time coming for ITA,” said Mike Melo, chief executive officer, ITA. “Now that we’re putting major company focus on the health and safety of humans by securing a source of sustainable energy, and a supply of sustainable water, we will be able to offer effective and executable solutions that can be sustained to help accomplish the stable human ecosystem that all people deserve.”

To lead these efforts, Jon Greene, senior advisor to the CEO has been promoted to president of ITASAS.
Before joining ITA, Greene was in the U.S. Navy for over 28 years to include serving as commanding officer of the USS McInerney (FFG 8), reactor officer on USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) and commanding officer of Combat Direction System Activity, Dam Neck in Virginia Beach.
