ITA International Awarded Position on Missile Defense Agency SHIELD IDIQ Contract

Newport News, VA, Jan 20, 2026- ITA International announced that it was awarded a contract for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $151B. This contract encompasses a broad range of work areas that allows for the rapid delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and agility.

The SHIELD contract enables the Missile Defense Agency to leverage a diverse set of industry partners to accelerate innovation and enhance mission responsiveness in support of homeland defense.
