NEWPORT NEWS, Va., August 25, 2020 – ITA International (ITA) was awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III, five-year $50 million contract by the U.S. General Services Administration to support the U.S. Air Force in consolidating and modernizing electromagnetic spectrum operations at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
“With 15 years of experience providing technical solutions to a variety of government agencies, ITA International is well-prepared to help the Air Force successfully manage transition to more automation and integration,” said Mike Melo, chief executive officer, ITA International. “Our team of ITAers are ready and excited to help the U.S. Air Force operationalize their data and become a model for the Department of Defense.”
In partnership with the Air Force, ITA will provide tools within the ITA Data Analytics Center (ITADAC) along with subject matter expertise from the ITA Global Security (ITAGS) team to implement the ARENA (Ask, Review, Evaluate, Navigate, Analyze) Process for the operationalization of data. ITADAC and ITAGS will assist the USAF by leveraging technology through the extension of ITA’s Logistics Common Operational Picture (LOGCOP) tool. LOGCOP will allow the Air Force to incorporate multiple data input systems into a high-level information decision support system.
