NEWPORT NEWS, Va., May 26, 2021 – ITA International (ITA) promoted Glenn Mallo to vice president of Quality Assurance, effective immediately. In this role, Mallo is responsible for directing ITA’s quality management, environmental, health and safety programs.

Mallo will develop new tools, methods and systems to reduce ITA’s impact on the environment, properly train employees to ensure quality and objectives are met, and ensure all work is performed safely. He will also serve as the export control empowered official, related to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance.
Before joining ITA, Mallo served as Command Master Chief for U.S. 2nd Fleet, Battle Force 7th Fleet/Carrier Strike Group 5, Task Force 20, USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), Training Center Great Lakes, HM-15 and USS Oak Hill (LSD 15). Mallo is a nuclear trained U.S. Navy veteran with over 30 years’ experience in program management, data analytics, leadership, people development, quality assurance, reactor controls maintenance, operations and training.
