NEWPORT NEWS, Va., April 12, 2022 – ITA International (ITA) was awarded a $78 million, firm-fixed-price task order from the U.S. Air Force to provide support services at multiple locations across the Central Command for the Ninth Air Force (9AF) Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron.

ITA will provide security support services to 9AF, including base operations, administration, plans, Expeditionary Security Forces training and military exercises, as required by the government at: Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE; Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait; Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait; Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait; Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Muwaffaq-Salti Air Base, Jordan; and Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The period of performance of the task order is May 2022 to November 2027.
9AF (Air Forces Central Command) is the air component of United States Central Command, a regional unified command and is responsible for air operations and developing contingency plans in support of national objectives for United States Central Command’s (USAFCENT) 21-nation area of responsibility in Southwest Asia. Additionally, USAFCENT manages an extensive supply and equipment prepositioning program at several area of responsibility sites.
