NEWPORT NEWS, Va., July 20, 2022 – ITA International (ITA) has announced new leaders to enrich and streamline global security operations and enhance current customer solutions and environmental security initiatives. Clint Ross was promoted to vice president, Global Security Operations and Jon Greene has been hired as a senior advisor to Mike Melo, chief executive officer, ITA International.
“I trust Clint and Jon’s leadership will be key as we continue to provide the best solutions to our customers’ most complex problems,” said Melo. “I look forward to our continued performance and growth under their strong leadership and belief in ITA’s vision and values.”
Ross will manage contract-driven operations related to training, analysis, security and technical services, together with the Department of Defense and other government customers. He will also focus on the development and capture of new business within the ITA Global Security (ITAGS) business unit.
Before joining ITA in 2021 as the vice president of Strategy, Ross served over 26 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 2021 as the installation commander of Joint Base Langley Eustis. His career varied in leadership and staff positions at the Wing, Squadron, Headquarters Air Force, Defense Intelligence Agency and the White House. He’s a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and holds master’s degrees from the University of Arkansas, Air Command and Staff College and the National War College.
Greene will shape corporate strategies dedicated to environmental security in the defense and stability markets and he will focus on finding business opportunities that leverage subject matter expertise within ITA’s Data Solutions (ITADS) business unit.
Greene spent 28 years with the U.S. Navy where he commanded USS McInerney (FFG 8) and Combat Direction System activity at Dam Neck, Virginia Beach. While there, he led a 350-person research and development organization that focused on systems of systems integration, interoperability and integrated training capabilities. Following his naval career, Greene held several roles of increasing responsibility at Virginia Tech’s Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Science where he was most recently the associate director of Strategic Planning and Development. Greene received a master’s degree in national security affairs from the Navy Postgraduate School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the United States Naval Academy.
