NEWPORT NEWS, Va., Nov. 29, 2022 – ITA International (ITA) has announced several leadership promotions to help the company cross the chasm in 2023 by augmenting data-driven decision making, expanding the contracts office to allow for rapid contracting solutions for the customer, and enhancing communications and branding. The following appointments were effective before or on Nov. 21:
Lauren Campbell
Lauren Campbell, vice president of Contracts has been promoted to ITA’s Chief Contracts Officer. She is responsible for the company’s contracting, procurement, estimating and pricing.
Before joining ITA in 2017, Campbell served on the U.S. Navy contracting team for the Supervisor for Shipbuilding where she worked on contract awards, quality control and also served as the lead public relations officer.
Scott Willette, Ph.D, director of Program and Resource Analysis has been promoted to vice president of ITA Data Solutions (ITADS). Willette is now responsible for leading the ITADS organization to achieve company goals. He will also be responsible for expanding growth and the development of new initiatives to support the strategic direction of ITADS.

Willette is a retired Marine Corps field grade officer from the aviation command and control field where he led the planning and execution of multiple combined arms operations and exercises. As an analyst for over 20 years, he has hands-on experience in cost estimation, decision analysis, operations research, model development, and project management. Willette has developed, conducted, and led numerous studies, including the development of a meta-analysis approach to assessing the depth of coverage of Marine Corps analytical efforts, and currently leads all cost and cost-benefit analyses for Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate. Previously, he spent almost 11 years conducting analyses in support of requirements and acquisition decisions for over 80 programs for the Marine Corps and Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense.

Lauren G. Barnes, senior director of Integrated Marketing & Communications has been promoted to vice president of Corporate Communications and Branding. Barnes is responsible for ITA’s brand strategy and all aspects of ITA’s communications initiatives including public relations, executive and internal communications, and social media.
Before joining ITA in 2020, Barnes served as manager of strategic communications for Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Technical Solutions division. She has also held several prominent communications positions including global media relations manager and social media manager for Northrop Grumman. Early in her career, Barnes worked as a radio show host at WHOV-FM and WFOS-FM. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications at Hampton University.
